Destiny 2. Help Forums. Does this game not support it? But as soon as i click on my character to load it, the sound dies off from then on. The first time i tried this, the opening cutscene without sound ofc took pretty long to load too.
My headphones are sony MDRX, running the game on windows 10 home edition, if that helps. Would like to note that its been like this since the beta, i thought it would have been fixed by now. Comment Reply Start Topic. Post History Loading, please wait. This may take some time I found a simple solution where you can have sound and the mic working. Download a program called Voice meter banana.
Set the mic as an input device and your headset as an output device. Then you can have both sound and the mic working. My solution was going to sound settings, manage devices, and disabling headset as an output.
Hope this helps. I have to disable my Mic in Windows preferences to hear any audio in Destiny 2. I could hear game sounds and use in-game chat or Discord without any issues. In this case, I can not use my microphone!
In this case, I can use my microphone but the audio quality is terrible and sounds as if I'm on a phone call. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Having this same problem with my sennheiser HD 4. Unlike other methods, there's no way to turn this off. Thankfully my sennheiser headphones comes with an Audio Jack, but it's still troubling. Turning off the headphones, which it forces itself to do when the audio jack is plugged in will restore bluetooth delay for the mouse back to normal.

Thread starter Derrick H Start date Aug 28, Derrick H New Member. Hey folks. I can stream any other game I own just fine with OBS. I haven't had any issues in a long time. Today, however, I'm trying to stream the Destiny 2 beta with OBS and the sound comes through, but no video. I can stream the game just fine with shadow play but would prefer not to. Any idea why the video is not working, but only for Destiny 2? Harold Active Member. Dilaz Member. ShiftyMarine New Member.

The following are the errors that players are experiencing with the game along with their possible fixes and workarounds. One of the reasons why Destiny 2 is crashing is apparently because of players having more than friends on Steam. As ridiculous as it sounds, you need to reduce your friends on Steam at least to and the game will stop crashing. Just set the proper resolution and the crash issue should be resolved. This is another issue that Destiny 2 players are facing.
If you are getting a black screen with audio in the background, it can be easily fixed. In case you are getting a black screen without any audio then the issue might be your GPU driver. Update your GPU driver and the issue will be resolved. This Destiny 2 error pops up due to players having characters in their names that are incomprehensible. SOLVED: How to Fix Destiny 2 PC Crashing – Solutions to Crashes, Instability, Bugs & Glitches
I can sympathise a little more if I think about it closely, though — too many mega-gods running about in the early days of Destiny 2 PC seems a tad unfair, while conversely the superior aim controls of mouse arguably gives you a way to progress more rapidly with a character you may ultimately plan to use on console.
Or perhaps a tricky technical hurdle. In my experience on a GeForce cardthe supposedly superior SMAA does very little compared to having AA off entirely, while the supposedly inferior FXAA does tone things down a little more but makes some detail seem softer. Perhaps an MSAA option will be added in time — this too can harm performance significantly, but it usually does the trick when it comes to jaggies.
No AA. Screenshotting is hard workdue to Destiny 2 aggressively blocking many third-party applications as part of its anti-cheating measures. First is that the default Alt-F1 command unfortunately conflicts with F1 being hard-bound to the inventory screen in Destiny 2, so I just ended up with a load of that, but I was able to rebind the shortcut in GeForce Experience.
There are two ways around this also relevant if you prefer not to have GeForce Experience installed : Print Screen, but you may find that this only works in Windowed, Borderless Window, or Borderless Fullscreen, and by default it involves a great deal of manual faff pasting the image into an editing application.
Some third-party applications, such as Dropbox, will automatically export a screen capture to file, however. If you were hoping player-to-player communication options would be improved for the PC version of Destiny 2, prepare for disappointment. This is a weirdly silent game. With the above in mind, be very, very careful about what you use with the game. Though Bungie currently deny that some applications which use screen overlays, such as the aforementioned Discord, are responsible for the recent wave of mystery Destiny 2 account bansthere is some anecdotal correlation.
Hopefully Bungie will explain the situation very soon, but in the meantime just do a quick bit of checking that nothing you habitually use with your games, such as OBS, is associated with any problems.

Symptoms: Destiny 2 PC will crash to the Windows desktop pretty reliably after playing somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes. Sometimes it showed a message recommending I run the Scan and Repair utility. This crashing can happen at seemingly any time in game — any location or in game activity.
Sometimes it happens after fast traveling or at the beginning or end of a cut scene. Other times it happens randomly while not doing much of anything. Exit Destiny 2 and the Battle. Then close and exit all unnessary programs running on your PC, including background and taskbar application. For me, the problem was solved.
It appears there is a conflict of some sort, my best guess is there is a video conflict with the application Ultramon or the Roccat Power Grid.
This is a solution offered officially by Bungie on their website and forums. It is very simple and definitely worth a quick try to see if it solves your issue.
Right at launch the Destiny 2 player community was in an uproar because some players were getting banned. In the end it looked like those banned players were actually few in number and had been using exploits. The Destiny 2 devs state this is intended to stop cheating.

No sound here, either. Not from headset or speakers. Only game I own that's having this issue. Is this a documented bug with a pending fix, or are we on our own? Precisely saying is when the game title shows up the music will stop, and after your press Enter or click mouse it will be muted, until the smaller loading icon appears in the bottom-right and start spinning, the music will back on and the sound is back.
Diggit View Profile View Posts. I am having same issue. No sound only in this game. Tried rolling back the recent Window update, updating drivers, reinstalling the application, etc. No dice. Sure does seem like the patch, but I don't see this problem pinned here or in Bungie forums. The game is pretty much unplayable without the audio--at least for me.
I need the environmental cues and I like the music. Noxyba View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Maverick. Azure View Profile View Posts.
